Falcon’s Fire Grand Opening

Production of special event commemorating the grand opening of Falcon’s Fire Golf Club. The culmination of the event was the unveiling of a bronze sculpture by Colorado sculptor James Agius, after a 3-week tease campaign in local media.

 

The Paramount Experience

Ideation and experiential design for potential Paramount location-based entertainment venue to provide immersive brand-themed experience for major entertainment studio. Work included particular attention to “bigger than you” attractions signage design to mark the facility.

Economic studies to support the filing of community redevelopment plan for the Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California.

The Ritz-Carlton Aspen Hotel

Owner representation and asset management, during construction and facility operations.

 

Owner representation during construction completion and for ongoing hotel asset management. Evaluated feasibility of in-house spa facilities for the hotel. Part of Aspen Mountain P.U.D. The destination resort has since been reflagged as the St. Regis Aspen.

 

Aspen, Colorado ranks as one of the world’s top resort destinations, known both for its skiing and Winter sports, as well as its considerable year-around cultural and intellectual pursuits. The Aspen Institute is known worldwide for its schedule of events. From its mining town origins, the central business district of Aspen is now an upscale shopping district that includes high-end restaurants, salons, and luxury retail stores. Aspen (Pitkin County) was founded as a mining camp during the Colorado Silver Boom and named for the abundance of aspen trees in the area. The city emerged as a ski area after World War II, with the foundation of Walter Paepcke’s Aspen Skiing Company.

 

Tai Po Mega Mall

Revitalization tactics for this regional mall, the largest shopping mall in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong.   The five-zone, 598,000 SF facility, is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties.

 

The mall is located within Tai Po New Town, a town intended to be expanded from and included Tai Po Market, Tai Po Old Market, and Tai Wo Market.   Back in the 1990’s, extensive land reclamation work occurred in Tolo Harbour to create land for the new town.

 

Hyatt Regency Long Beach

Feasibility study with facility recommendations, for Urban Development Action Grant application in connection with development of the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.

 

As redevelopment consultants, a market study and financial projections were prepared to accompany client’s application for Urban Development Action Grant (UDAG) funds, as part of developing this major convention hotel to be located in redevelopment project area in downtown Long Beach.

 

The 528-room Hyatt Regency Long Beach Convention Center at the time was a proposed lodging development to be located in a redevelopment project area along Shoreline Drive in the heart of downtown Long Beach.

 

Pleasant View Planned Community

Market study, housing product evaluation, and financial projections, along with master plan for residential golf community in Middleton (Madison), Wisconsin.

 

Pleasant View Golf Community was a planned joint venture of two of Wisconsin’s leading financial services organizations. At build-out the master-planned golf community would include 1,300 residential units and an 18-hole championship-calibre golf course. Initial golf course routing was completed by Jack Nicklaus Design for integration with overall land development planning.

 

A business plan for the development project was prepared, including a detailed market assessment, supply/demand study, and recommended residential product array. Sales absorption, phasing schedules, and infrastructure routing were critical aspects of the work effort for the client.

 

Unlike other cities of its size (approx. 17,000 population), Middleton features the amenities and activity of much larger cities while maintaining its own unique small town charm with friendly and spirited people. Middleton benefits from close proximity to Madison and the University of Wisconsin, which has helped Middleton to become home to high-tech, biotech, pharmaceutical, medical research and agri-businesses as well as emerging and expanding commercial enterprises.
