For more than a century, the global lodging industry has been creating distinctive or simply innovative hotel properties, growing brands, acquiring brands, joint venturing, and consolidating within parent company holdings. Almost every multi-brand parent company for hotel brands, is itself a result of myriad of dealmaking that makes the story of each brand rather difficult to compile.
Today, the array of lodging brands may be at an all-time high due to very particular product offerings intended for specific guest segments.
This history and directory has been helpful to us over the years, to keep track of management companies and their brands, as they may be suited to development and operating opportunities.
